This package contains GIS data that is displayed in the Wind Resource Atlas. There are 10 ASCII grids that provide wind speed and wind power measurements at various heights (10m, 30m, 50m, 80m, and 100m) above ground level. There are also ESRI point shapefiles that contain temporal information (monthly, yearly, extreme months and inter – annually) and wind rose information. All data in this package is in Geographic, Decimal Degrees, Nad 83 CNT. For more information about the wind resource atlas, please visit the web site at http://www.ontariowindatlas.ca/
